Don Manuel Villafan͂e / Chardonnay / Argentina

A beautiful pale golden color, the bouquet shows attractive peach, melon and citrus characters.  In the mouth it is medium bodied, well-balanced with wonderful, soft citrus and pineapple flavors.  Very good length and finishes with an excellent fresh, soft acidity.

 


Lauca / Pinot Noir / Chile

This elegant Pinot Noir is deep in color and dominated by red cherry flavors and light spices.  It is aged 5 months in French oak barrels.  Well balanced with vanilla and leather characteristics.

 


Fernhook Estate / Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017 / New Zealand

A full bodied wine, designed to capture and balance the natural fruit flavours with the mineral terroir expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.  With an aroma of ripe tropical and nectarine, the citrus fragrances encourage this wine to partners well with white meat and seafood cuisine. Sufficiently bodied, it works well with fragrant spices and citrus dressings.

 


Tamaya / Carménère 2011 / Chile

Deep and intense, this wine shows a brilliant purple and introduce itself with a fresh and characteristic nose of the grape. Small wild berries, plums, blackberries, dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers. The rising complexity also gives wet earth and stones, graffito, fresh liquorice, black pepper and smooth spices. The mouth initiates with juicy sensations and all the freshness of the fruit expression. Well surrounded by small and fine tannins helping in increasing density, the texture gets intensity and slowly leads to a smooth and vibrant finish of impressive length made of spices, underbrush and wild berries enhanced by mineral hints, liquorice and tobacco.

 


Grace’s Vine / Chardonnay 2017 / Chile

Aged in American and French oak for 8 months, this Chardonnay gives flavors of melon, peach, apple, and ripe citrus fruits.  With hints of honey and cream, the excellent acidity with a long, lingering finish and a harmonious balance between ripe fruit and minerality, this outstanding wine pairs very will with chicken dishes, pastas in creamy sauces, cheese based salads like Caesar salads and steamed or grilled fish.

 


Grace’s Vine / Pinot Noir 2016 / Chile
This Pinot Noir has an exotic beautiful fragrance of fresh jazzy red berries and Smokey black cherry’s, with light vanilla nuances and small hints of toast that hover in the aroma.  On your palette the feel is light and soft but fresh with soft and light tannins; the finish is very pleasant with hints of mineral but leaving a Smokey bright cherry taste.  Pairs very well with light pasta dishes, all types of grilled fish with a char and game meats such as lamb, duck, venison or veal or just cheese and cured meats.

 


A. Schmitt / Saar Riesling 2016 / Germany

Wines from the Saar have been highly appreciated all over Europe since the 19th century. Typical wines with a smooth and remarkable acidity combined with a complex structure of sweetness and minerality. With a moderate percentage of alcohol it feels light and crisp. This wine was made to honor the classic style of Saar Riesling. Spontaneous fermentation and all its typical characteristics, it perfectly fits to every barbecue and will surprise everyone. With a comfortable level of residual sugar it is suitable for all types of different dishes and a great entry in the world of Saar Riesling.

 


Gabriella / Rose 2017 / Italy
The lush aromas include wild strawberry, Elderberry, hay and dried roses and almond.  A beautiful balance of robust fruit and crisp acidity characterize the complex palate with flavors that mirror the notes found in the wine’s bouquet.  Ideal with smoked salmon, fish appetizers, tuna tartar, sushi and sashimi.  Perfect as an accompaniment to salads and white meat.

 


Gabriella / Pinot Grigio 2017 / Italy
The bouquet from this Pinot Grigio is very pleasant with a good array of varietal aromas such as pear Williams, apricot and Acacia flowers.  Taste is reminiscent of pear syrup and quince peel.  With a good acid balance, good body and long finish, it is perfect served lightly chilled on its own, or as an accompaniment to salads, white meat and fish dishes.

 


Gabriella / Chianti 2013 / Italy

Dark ruby red with violet reflections, the intense and long-lasting flavor of fruit with hints of sweet violet create a well-balanced, dry wine with mild tannins.  Pairs well with first courses like pasta and rice dishes served with meat sauces as well as grilled red meat and mild seasoned cheeses.
